All-new Instagram founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger could face further government scrutiny after the company’s former head of marketing agreed to testify before Congress on Friday about possible corruption of Instagram’s staff.

Rigging the Android app and other $1B deals are among the allegations contained in a report commissioned by the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. They are largely based on allegations made by Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Bornstein.

Adam Mosseri, Instagram’s former head of marketing, was asked to testify. Now it looks like he will do so. The company isn’t commenting.

Systrom and Krieger left Instagram earlier this year after a rift with Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger. Systrom is now leading for Facebook’s standalone photo app, Hipster.
