So cute we can’t eat! How to make a tasteful Christmas meal out of too-cute things

The holiday season is a time for giving, from front-loaded gift lists filled with top-shelf goods to baking pies and sweet-and-spicy treats in to a warm, cozy atmosphere.

Think you can out-cute your favorite foodie, but after dinner, end up empty-handed? Well, CNN en Español is here with a dish on ways to make a decent meal out of too-cute stuff.

From gift-wrapped treats to Christmas silver ornaments, CNN en Español enlisted the help of TV celebrity chefs Yoli Garcia and Bryan Voltaggio and stopped by the Holiday Markets in America, a new holiday event at the Hart House, which has been converted into a marketplace featuring 70 vendors from the US and Mexico.

The festive event boasts a whole host of treats to be eaten, from a baked fajita tree to photo opportunities in front of a photograph booth to many more different kinds of snack goodness that you can sample through December 26.

To learn more about how the spirit of giving is captured in the American holiday spirit, tune in to CNN en Español on Tuesday, December 11th, at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
